My First Beauty Haul 2014

Would this be classed as my first haul of 2014, even though I ordered it on 30th December last year?

Well its confuzzled me, but since I received it in the new year, I'm going to call it my first haul of the new year, and now we have that matter sorted lets begin..

So I have a reason for this haul and it was the Revlon nail polish in Stunning! I blame the clear glass bottle with its cute little red bow sitting on the Revlon shelf, sparkling at me every time I walked in. Oh the torment!

There it is, the beauty that made me cave.

Well you might ask why I haven't bought it before if it was tempting me so much? Simply because I didn't need any Revlon products at the time and December is the month I'm not really meant to buy myself anything. But yes. I caved, and I don't regret it one little bit.

Here's the deal, if I added 3 Revlon products to my basket then Stunning would magically appear in there too.
Boots had a 3 for 2 on Revlon products at the time so win win, I buy two products and I receive two free. But it didn't stop there. Oh no. One thing that you are going to learn about me is that if I can get out of paying delivery whichever way possible then I will.

I had to spend a further £7.00 to qualify for free delivery to a Boots store. So off I searched for some more items to add.

Now, I'm one for a bargain and I knew that to justify spending the extra £7.00 that I didn't really want to spend, but knew I had to, I had to find another offer that made me think I'd won this battle, and I found one.

There was another gift with purchase on Rimmel products and Boots were also having a 3 for 2 on these too. So I searched and googled swatches until I found my 3 products that totalled just over £7.00 and guaranteed me the second free gift with purchase.

All in all I have received 8 products and 4 of those ended up being free. Woohoo.

  1. I'm glad you found my blog!! I love your beauty haul--you got some really good stuff! My current favorite Rimmel lipsticks are Kate Moss no.17 and Kate Moss matte no.109. I also got a really amazing nude color like the Revlon one you purchased and it's called Easy Going by Sinful Colors. You should definitely check it out if you decide you don't like the other.
