What's In My Make up Bag?

I'd like to do a post to give you all an idea of what's in my make up bag(s), I really enjoy reading these kind of posts and love having a browse to see what everybody else is using.

I actually have two make up bags on the go at most times, not because one is full but because I may have a mild case of OCD with beauty products and storage so I have one bag for "older" products, they aren't actually old by any means but they are my older products that I've had for awhile, my new make up bag houses all new make up that I buy, I just like to see all the new things I have in one place, it also gives me a good opportunity to try them all out properly before they are all given a more permanent home somewhere else.
If the new item becomes an everyday product, over time as newer make up takes it's place it will end up in the "older" bag but if I don't find myself reaching for the product much then it will go into my make up drawer.

Here's the make up that's earned a place in either of my make up bags and one product which I've now banished to the drawer.

My "older" make up bag consists of:

Nars Orgasm/Laguna duo- A staple for me, I have used this every single day since I bought it and will never be without Laguna bronzer again, I'm not overly concerned about the blush as I use that more for going out and have other favourite daytime blushes that contain less shimmer.

Benefit Brow-Zings- This has recently been replaced as my favourite eyebrow product by the HD Brow palette but I like this to be around still as the wax part is extremely useful. It's also good if you need a smaller palette to carry around then HD Brows.

Carmex cherry lip balm- This is essential for me before applying any lipsticks to get the smoothness without the lipsticks clinging and becoming patchy.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub-  Again an essential for me before applying any lip product as it provides a nice base. (And tastes lovely.)

Erborian BB Cream- I love love love this product, it's my favourite base product so far ever. It does need to be built up for better coverage but it's something that can be used all year round. I will never be without this anytime soon.

Mac Studio Sculpt NC15- This is my everyday foundation in winter, I mix this with Laura Mercer Radiance foundation primer, I've found that using Mac studio sculpt on it's own clings to any dry patches of skin, so this helps to give a more "dewy" effect and helps the product go further.

Clinique High Impact Mascara- One of my everyday mascaras. I usually have a couple on the go at once and just swap and change to what mood I'm in.

Estee Lauder Bold Volume Lifting Mascara- As said above another everyday mascara, I really liked this mascara when I first got it, now however I think its on it's last legs and might need a few radiator warm ups before use.

Real Techniques Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush- This is my mixing brush, I have two of these and I can rarely get a a single foundation to suit me so I usually end up mixing two together, this brush is what I use to mix them as I haven't yet found anything that is meant for this purpose?

Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush- This is my go to shadow brush for easiness sake, I can usually achieve whatever look I need with this and it's not all that often I do a full face of make up for everyday so it does a good job for simple make up looks.

Rimmel Eyeliner Black- Getting quite small now, it's a staple as I like to lightly line the upper lash line to add "volume" to the base of the lashes, I have no particular favourite and it's just the last one I picked up, might give another brand a go when I need a new one, which looks soon.

Benefit Posiepal- Posietint and California Kissing' I bought this thinking it would be fantastic but in reality I haven't found it to be so great. I love the idea of the Calafornia Kissin' and do like to use it but the container it's in just seems to let it seep out of the sides and its quite a sticky mess to use, I have so many other things that I use in place of the Posietint that I just don't get around to using it in any way really. I think this needs re-homed to my make up drawer instead of here so with a sad wave I bid farewell to Benefit Posiepal.

The "new" make up bag contains:

Real Techniques Stippling Brush- This is one of my favourite brushes, I used it for applying everything, foundation, cream blush, Soleil Tan De Chanel, now I've actually replaced it for applying foundation at the mean time for the Miracle Complexion Sponge but this is still used daily for applying the Bourjois Blush Exclusive.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge- My new foundation tool. I will review this shortly in greater detail but for my chosen foundation of the moment this is amazing.

Real Techniques Duo Fibre Contour Brush- This is my only brush that I am able to contour properly with, I have a Real Techniques Contour brush but I don't find it to be as good as this.

Real Techniques Buffing Brush- This is in the bag because you can't go wrong with a buffing brush to hand, if I apply too much blush I will use this to blend it in more, this is also good for buffing foundation into the neckline to avoid any tell tale lines.

Bourjois Glamour MAX Holidays Mascara- Reviewed previously Here in more detail and before and afters, one of my many go to daytime mascaras, I'm finding myself reaching for this more and more.

Max Factor False Lash Effect- I'm not going to say too much about this yet as I'm still in working progress with this mascara, once apon a time it was true love, but now this might have changed, once I've fully made up my mind I will post my review.

Bourjois Smokey Eyes- Not yet used, it's one I received for christmas, I love smokey eyes and the next time I go out somewhere that requires more than a flick of mascara, I will be using this and seeing what I think but for now it sure looks pretty.

Bourjois Blush Exclusif- I love this so much, it takes some getting used to and I can still find myself applying too much but I'm still learning how to apply it in a way that's best for me, I'm currently using the Stippling brush for applying this and when I get it right looks lovely, this could well move into Spring with me and be my go to Spring blush.

Clinique Chubby Stick for Eyes in Massive Midnight- I received this for christmas and it's such a lovely colour, not too dark but just adds a little colour to the eyes, I like to wear this lightly along the lash line to add a bit of something when I'm not wearing a full face of makeup.

Benefit Mini Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation- I'm currently putting this to the test after receiving it for christmas, full review to come, still in two minds and trying to find the best way to wear this.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance- Love this, makes everything look lovely. I'm more of a fresh and dewy effect person rather than matt, I like to mix this with my Mac foundation rather than apply before hand, that's how I find it best to use this product but it's still lovely alone I just feel bad covering it up with a thicker product.

HD Brows Palette- These are the powder products that I use everyday for my eyebrows, I have reviewed this in more detail Here.

Bourjois Effect 3D in Red - How lovely does this look? I haven't used this yet either as I'm still waiting for the perfect opportunity, I have swatched this though at home and its so shiny and beautiful, not as pigmented as I originally thought but it's rather nice that way.

Is there anything here you would like to see a review on? Do you have separate make up bags or do you keep everything together?

Lots of Love
