Valentine's Gift Guide 2014. Roses.

What do you think about when you hear 'Valentine's day'? Love? Roses? Romance? Companies wanting to make a bomb of money off another day? Personally when I think of Valentine's day the 3 things that come to my mind are Love, Romance and Roses.

I enjoy Valentine's day and always look forward to the most romantic day of the year, I enjoy looking through fellow bloggers gift guides and having an excuse to perhaps treat myself to something I normally wouldn't. Everywhere you go, red and pink take over, Florists have oh so beautiful window displays, there are hearts and roses everywhere you turn, so that's why my first gift guide is going to be dedicated to the divine flower itself. Here I've chosen items that all have at least one thing in common, The Rose.
So whether your looking for an extra something that could be given instead of or alongside a singe or a dozen roses, treating yourself or a loved one, there should be something here for your Valentines day 2014.

Urban Decay Naked 3- Ok so your thinking "Oh dear, the first item and she has already gone off track." But have I? You see Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is all about rose gold colours (aha see) so, what's better than giving a dozen rose gold inspired eye shadows? With it's beautifully romantic and wavy packaging your onto a winner. Urban Decay Naked 3 is available Here for £37.00.

Bourjois Rose Exclusif Blush and Lipgloss- I think the set of these two beautiful products would be a truly lovely gift, I've seen they can be bought together in Selfridges in a little gift bag. They are also available separately and what makes them so special is that they adapt to each individual's pH balance so they become truly personalised and have the most perfect Valentine's packaging. Bourjois Blush Exclusif is available Here for £7.99 and Bourjois Rose Exclusif Lipgloss is available Here for £7.69.

China Glaze Nail Polish in Life is Rosy- Perhaps your looking for just a little gift? Something that will last longer than flowers or chocolate, that isn't going to break the bank? Life is Rosy could be your answer, a lovely, rosy pink which could be the perfect Valentine's colour.. and no, we cannot have too many nail polishes. China Glaze Life is Rosy is available Here for £4.49

Roses de Chloè EDT- Are you looking for a special perfume? Many people see Valentine's day a chance to give perfume as a gift and it's no wonder, with the lovely bottles and smells, memories that can be remembered by a simple spritz, it could possibly be the most romantic gift of all. Roses de Chloe could be presented with roses or alone and it would be such a welcome scent that could be worn all Spring, or all year for that matter. The elegant bottle would look lovely on display. Truly beautiful and I'm sure it would be a much appreciated gift. Roses de Chloè is available Here for £52.00 but down to £44.20 (15% off at the time of writing)

Freeze Dried Rose Petals- These petals would be perfect left as a simple trail leading to a deep, hot, bath surrounded with candles and more petals floating in the lovely bubbly water. Slightly more expensive than the artificial petals but ever so much more luxurious feeling so well worth it. Freeze dried Rose petals are available Here for £11.99 but at the time of writing are down to £9.99.

Yankee Candle Fresh Cut Roses- Who doesn't love a candle? Especially an amazingly scented candle, all lovely and pink and well... amazing, with a scent perfect for Valentine's day, Fresh Cut Roses will make up for the lack of flowers or perhaps be an added extra. Lit in the bathroom for an hour or so before a lovely bubble bath, how relaxing. Yankee Candle Fresh Cut Roses is available Here for £19.49.

Tresor Paris Rose Gold Plated Eclat Rings- Jewellery on Valentine's Day, for some it's a must and the ultimate gift. I've chosen two rings from Tresor Paris, they come in different sizes and here I've shown the thinnest at 4mm and the next size up 6mm, these are rose gold plated but also come in white gold plated and yellow gold plated. An amazing gift that people will assume cost much more than they actually do. Beautifully presented, they could be this years ideal gift that you don't have to rob a bank for. Tresor Paris Rose Gold Plated Eclat Argent Rings are available Here and start at £19.00 (Yes, you read that right!)

I hope I may have helped somebody in picking a perfect gift, for yourself or a loved one. If your not a fan of roses at all don't despair, I have another gift guide to keep a look out for that has more ideas. I enjoyed putting this one together so much and had so many more items I wanted to add that I had to do a part 2.

Is there anything above that catches you eye? How are you planning on spending your Valentine's Day?

Lots of Love
