The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm had been floating around on my Bloglovin' feed for awhile now, I've constantly been reading reviews and have been tempted many times by it's cult status among beauty lovers but I kept resisting wondering if I really needed it?

I can't remember quite how I ended up purchasing this, it may have been in a small haul from Look Fantastic with a 20% code which meant I actually managed to get it for a slightly more attractive price... we all love a saving don't we?

I'm yet to try the stick version of Rêve de Miel but when I do get around to trying it I'll be sure to put up a comparison post between the two.

The pot of balm though is just lovely. The consistency, the smell, the feel. A real pleasure to wear! It's much thicker than I first anticipated, I was expecting it to be more like the Carmex pots, quite thin and quite difficult to pick up a nice amount but it's actually really really thick, it's smooth and easy to pick up plenty and just feels so luxurious.

I use this at the end of the day when I've taken off all make up and I tend to sleep in it. There's still usually some left on in the morning, it makes lips feel smooth and hydrated and whilst I've been using this I've noticed a huge difference in the overall condition of my lips, they used to be quite dry and I would struggle with lipstick application and often have to exfoliate but in all honesty I don't think I've reached for my Lush exfoliator since using this.

I really love this product and it's just so soothing to use at the end of the day. A tiny amount goes a very long way even when a thick layer is applied. Although it has a larger price tag for a lip balm it's most definitely worth it and can see this lasting such a long time. I recommend this to family and friends and would honestly say that this is the nicest lip balm I've come across and worth every penny.

Nuxe Rêve de Miel can be bought from LookFantastic for £9.50 but do look out for 20% codes as Look Fantastic are great for them.

Have you tried the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip balms? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Lots of Love
